Notice of AGM 2024

The AGM helps to provide a platform for our entire ED community to come together, share insights, and actively participate in the future of our Society.

The ED Society hold their annual general meeting (AGM) each year, and we are always seeking people to join our board of Trustees.

If you have ever considered taking on a volunteering role and contributing to the growth and well-being of our Charity, we encourage you to get in touch.

Becoming a trustee involves attending two meetings minumum a year, mostly held via zoom but also in Cheltenham on a Saturday.

Occasionally you may be asked to proof-read documents written by the office staff, helping to answer some general questions from us, or just to share any ideas you may have and offering general support to us in the office.

Maybe you have a specific skill set, or know of someone who does, which you think may be valuable to the Society?

The ED Society solely survives on donations and fundraising by our members. Our Trustee Stuart Atkiss, works extremely hard as our fundraising coordinator, and it would be great to find someone who could help him and offer their support.

How to Get Involved: If you are interested in becoming a Trustee or would like more information about the responsibilities and opportunities, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us, or you can complete a trustee nomination form here.

Feel free to email elly@edsociety.co.uk. We welcome any inquiries and expressions of interest.

Your passion for our cause and commitment to our community will make you an ideal candidate, and we would be delighted to discuss how you can play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the ED Society.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to your presence at the AGM, where your input and participation will be highly valued.
